AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 18.502
OF ARTICLE V, CHAPTER 18 OF THE MUN-
ICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF 1957
AS AJllliNDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Section 18.502 of Article V,
Chapter 18 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of
1957 as amended, be and the same is hereby amended to
and shall hereafter read as follows:
IlSection 18.502 Parking at Curb. No
person shall stand or park a vehicle in a
roadway other than parallel with the edge
of the roadway headed in the direction of
lawful traffic movement and with the curb-
side wheels of the vehicle within twelve
inches of the curb or vmere there is no
curb, within twelve inches of the edge of
the roadway, except that upon those streets
that have been marked for angle parking,
vehicles shall be parked at the angle to the
curb indicated by such marks. Double parlcing
is prohibited. If
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication according to law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect
any rights which have accrued to it against any person,
firm or corporation under any ordinance, or sections of
