BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and ]Board of Trustees of the

Village of Mount Prospect , Illinois, that there is hereby

appropriated the sum of $ 1,153,500 of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the purpose of maintaining
streets andhighwaysunder the applicableprovisions ofthelllinoisltighway Code, fi:om January 1, 94
to December 31, 1994
BE ri'FURTHER RESOLVe-T), that only those streets, highways, and operations as listed and described on the
approved Municipal Estimate of Ma{ntenance Costs, including supplemental or revised estimates approved in connection
with this resolution, are elig~le for maintenance with Motor Fuel Tax funds during the period as specified above.
BE IT FURTHER RF_~OLVED, that the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as given
above, submit to the Department of Transportation, on forms furnished by said Department, a certified statement
showing expenditures f~om and balances remaining in the account(s) for this period; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk shall immediately transmit two certified copies of this resolution
to the district office of the Depmhuent of Transportation, at Schaumburg , Illinois

Dear Madam:
The resolution adopted by the Mayor and Board of Trustees on
January 18, 1994 appropriating $1,153,500.00 of motor fuel tax
funds for the maintenance of various municipal streets from
January 1, 1994, to December 31, 1994, was approved by this
Department on January 31, 1994.
The estimate of maintenance cost in the amount of $162,000 for
muninipal streets and $8000.00 for municipal streets
engineering, was approved by this Department on January 31,
1994 and your file copy is being returned herewith.
Expenditure for the full amount of the approved estimate
$170,000.00 from your unobligated motor fuel tax account is
hereby authorized and will be recorded on your next monthly
Allotment Notification Letter.
