Resolution for Improvement by Municipality Construction
of Transportation Under the Illinois ltighway Code
IT RESOLVED, by the MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the
VILLAGE of MOUNT PROSPECT ,Illinois
that the following dascribed street(s) be improved under the Illinois Highway Code:

1996 RESURFACING PROGRAM
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,
1. That the proposed improvement shall consist of Resurfacing existing bituminus and concrete pavements
and removing and replacing various types of curb and gutter throughout the Village of Mount Prospect.
and shall be constructed feet wide
and be designated as Section 96-00124-00-RS
2. That there is hereby appropriated the (additional) sum of Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand
.................... -00/100 Dollars ($ 850,000.00 ) for the
improvement of said section from the municipality's allotmeat of Mntnt Fuel Tax funds.
3. That work shall be done by Contract ; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit two certified copies of this resolution to
the district office of the Deparunent of Transportation.

Dear Madam:
The Resolution for Section 96-00124-00-RS adopted by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees on February 20, 1996 was approved by this Department on February
23, 1996. This resolution provides for the resurfacing of various municipal
streets and appropriates $850,000.00 of motor fuel tax funds for the subject
section.

Dear Madam:
The plans, specifications and estimate for the above section were approved by
this Departmem on February 22, 1996.
The proposed improvement provides for the resurfacing of various municipal
streets.
It is noted that the proposed improvement will be constructed within the existing
right-of-way.
Twosets of the approved papers were previously picked up from our office by
the Village.
