RESOLUTION NO. 13-96
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETVVEEN THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
AND THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect and the Forest River Fire Protection District
are desirous of entering into an Intergovernmental Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Intergovernmental Agreement being the subject of this Resolution
provides for the Village of Mount Prospect to provide for the fire protection, fire prevention
and emergency medical services for that area known as the Forest River Fire Protection
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: The Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby
authorize the Mayor to sign and the Clerk to attest her signature on the Intergovernmental
Agreement between the Forest River Fire Protection District and the Village of Mount
Prospect for the year 1996, a copy of which is attached hereto and hereby made a part
hereof as Exhibit "A".
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force an effect from and after its
passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Clowes, Corcoran, Henddcks, Hoefert, Skowron, Wilks
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
PASSED and APPROVED this 2nd day of April , 1996.
