CAF/ ORDINANCE NO. 4145 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 800 KENNICOTT WHEREAS, Courtyard Construction Company (hereinafter referred to as Petitioner) has filed a petition for a Special Use with respect to property commonly known as 800 Kennicott (hereinafter referred to as the Subject Property); and WHEREAS, the Subject Property is legally described as follows: Lot 20 in Courts of Kennicott, being a subdivision of the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, according to the plat thereof filed in the office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook County, Illinois on October 30, 1987 as Document No. LR-3663764; and WHEREAS, Petitioner seeks a Special Use for the Subject Property, pursuant to Section 14.1101.C.6, to permit a 3-car garage; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the request for Special Use (designated as ZBA Case No. 2-SU-90) before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 25th day of January, 1990, pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the 9th day of January, 1990; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendations in favor of the proposed Special Use to the President and Board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have given further consideration to the requests herein and have determined that the same meets the standards of the Village and that the granting of the proposed Special Use would be in the best interest of the public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect do hereby grant to the Subject Property a Special Use to permit a 3-car garage, which Special Use is granted in conjunction with the variations being the subject of Ordinance No. 4]46 SECTION THREE: With the exception of the Special Use granted herein and the variations granted in Ordinance No. 4146 , the Subject Property shall comply with all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and regulations pertaining thereto. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect BA 2-SU-90 Page 2 of 2 from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
