AN ORDINANCE Iro CHANGE THE NAl'iIE OF
MacARTHUR BOULEVARD TO MacARTHUR DRIVE
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the designation
nIVIacArthur Drive" has been commonly accepted for MacArthur
Boulevard and that to avoid confusion it is appropriate
that the street name be changed to correspond with the
existing public impression; and
VffiEREAS, the owners of all of the property fronting
on the aforesaid street have joined in a petition to the
Village of Mount Prospect requesting such change,
NOW, 'n:IEREF'ORE':, BE IT OHDAINED BY THE PRESIJENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That MacArthur Boulevard in the Village
of Mount Prospect is hereby renamed MacArthur Drive.
Section 2: That all records, including ordinances,
maps and plats, of the Village of Mount Prospect, refer-
ring to the said street be and the same are hereby
amended to conform to the above change.
Section 3: That ,the Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect be and is hereby directed to make appropriate
alterations of such Village records to reflect the above
change and, to cause this ordinance to be recorded with
the Recorder of Cook County, Illinois.
