AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES
AlID APPOINTING JUDGES A~ID CLERKS FOR THE
REGULAR ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY,
APRIL 16, 1957
WHEREAS, a general election is to be held in the
r
Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 10,
1957, for the purpose of electing the following officers:
President
Village Clerk
Three (3) Trustees for the
full term
Police Magistrate
Two (2) Library Directors
Petition to Adopt Optional
Fire and Police Commissioners
Act
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois:
SECTION 1: That for the general election to be
held in the Village of Mount Prospect on Tuesday, April 16,
1957, the following polling places are hereby established

as follows:
PRECINCT 1 - Polling Place:\,Central School,
Emerson Street & Central
Road at S.E. lower entrance,
Mount Prospect, Illinois
PRECINCT 2 - Polling Place: Village Hall
112 E. Northwest Highway
Mount Prospect, Illinois
PRECINCT 3 - Polling Place: st. Raymond's School,
Elmhurst Avenue at Milburn Ave.
Mount Prospect, Illinois
SECTION 2: That the following be and they are here-
by designated and appointed to act as Judges and Clerks at
said election:

That the Village Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to give notice of said election, cause ballots to be
printed, and conduct said election in manner and form as pro-
vided by law.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
