AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF 1957 BY AMENDING
CHAPTER 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Chapter 1, Section 1.004 of the
Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957 which reads:
"Section 1.004 Bond-oath-salary. Before
entering upon the duties of his office the
president shall give a bond with sureties
to be approved by the board of trustees
conditioned upon his faithful performance
of his duties, in the sum of three thousand
dollars. He shall take the oath of office
as prescribed by statute, and shall receive
such compensation as may be set from time
to time by the board. 11
be and the same is hereby amended to hereafter read
as follows:
"Section 1.004 Bond-oath-salary. Before

of his duties, in the sum of three thousand
dollars. He shall take the oath of office
as prescribed by statute and shall receive
as compensation the sum of twenty dollars
($20.00) for each meeting of the Villa8e
Board of Trustees over which he presides."
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
