AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF 1957, BY A~ffiNDING
ClffiPTER 2, SECTION 2.10~
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF THUSTEES
OF THE VILL.i\.GE OF MOUNT PHOSPEC'r, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: rrhat Chapter' 2, Section 2.101 of the
Municipal Code of Hount Prospect of 1957, vJhich reads:
ffSection 2 .10L Oath-Salary. rrhe members of
the board of trustees shall take the oath of
office prescribed by statute, and shall re-
ceive such compensation as may be provided
by ordinance. 11
be and the same is hereby amended to hereafter read as follows:
llSection 2.101 Oa th-Salal"Y. rrhe members of
the board of trustees shall take the oath of
office prescribed by statute and shall receive
as compensation the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00)
for each meeting of the board of trustees
attended by the members; provided, however,
that no trustee shall receive compensation for
attendance at more than one (1) meeting per vleek. II
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
