AN ORDINANCE amending
Ordinance No. 51B.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT p,l\JD BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF },,10UNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 518 entitled 'IAn Ordinance
providing for the installation, regulation and control of the use of parking meter
signs; defining .-rking meter zones and providing for the enforcement and
penalty for violation thereof" be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
"All vehicles using said parking spaces shall face
the parking meter and it shall be unlawful to park
such vehicle in any other manner. "
SECTION 2. That Sectioa 23 of an ordh1.ance entitled "An Ordinance
providing for the installation, regulatio:n and control of the use of parking meter
signs; defining parking meter zones and providing for the enforcement and
penalty for viola.tion thereofll be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Section Z3. Any person~ firm or corporation who violates
any of the provisions of this ordinance ehall, upon conviction
thereof, be fined not less than One Dollar ($1. 00) nor more than
Two Hundred Dolla:rs ($ZOO.OO) for each and every offense.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
its passage, approval and publication accC/1:zi:ling to la.w.
