BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VIL.l.P....GE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COU1-iTY. ILLINOIS;

SECT.I,?~ The payment for such pa:ddng metel'G and the installatiOil
under any contract 01" coutrar:.ts heretofore ('nte:;:ed into by the ViUage or hereafte:r

shall be only and solely irom the receipts fund.s and revenues obtained from
the oper.ation of said parking metel's, \vithQut in. any mc.nner obligating th.e
Vil1a.ge to pay for the same from allY other sou~:ces.
S~.9,~ION 4... There are hereby established r;:e;dai11 zones to be knoy',I'n
as parldng meter zones. Parking rnete::-s 8h2.11 be installed to conform to the
parking tim.e limits as are hereby establ:i.shc:d by this ordinal1ce~ or which may
hereafter be established. Pal'ldng time limits on'V"veekdays; except holidays,
shaH be from the hours of 6:00 A. M. to 6:00 P. M.. The followi.ng days shall
be designated as holidays: January 1. !I,!ay 30,) July 4, Labor Day~ Thanksgiving
Day~ and December 25. If any of these days 6hall fall on Sunday and be observed
on Monday then the Monday will be conside:l.~ed o.n <it holiday for the purposes of
thb ordinance.

SECTION 17. It shaH he the dut;l of the PoHc.e DepGi_t'tment ot the Village
of Mount PrQspect to issue tags to all pe;;:oscl1'() vrho "'.delate t~he FO\JidoTls of
Sections 5 and 7 of thio ordina~1;';~o SUdl tEl.go n~a.y be deHvered to the violator

SECTION ZOo The estin>.ated initial cost of the installa.tion of. parking
meters in the Village is SIXTEEN THOUSAND($16~ 000. 00) DOLLARSo No
revenu.e bonds are to be issued or sold to pay for s<:<.id meteTs~ 01' flny meters
he:reafter acquiJ:'ed~ but th,:':! nleters shall be acquired by the Village from the
revenue derived or to be derived. from such :meters. Fifty (500/41) PeJ:cent of the
revenue derived from said meters each Vet"l+J installed in the Sixty (50) minute
or one (1) hour parking meter zone G will be applied on. the cost of installation
of said meters until th~ same are paid in in11. The percentage of revenue to
be al:lplied to the cost of inst.allation of meters in the Twelve (12) ,hOUI' zone
