ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE amending the Mount
Prospect Building Code of 1938.
Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 2 of the Mount Prospect
Building Code of 1938, known as Ordinance No. 225, be and
the same is hereby amended by deleting Section 5 thereof.
SECTION 2: That Section 8 of Chapter 2 of the
Mount Prospect Building Code of 1938, known as Ordinance
No. 225, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom all of said section except the first sentence
thereof.
SECTION 3: That Section 23.1 of Chapter 9 of the
Mount Prospect Building Code of 1938, known as Ordinance
No. 225, as heretofore amended by Ordinance No. 296, be
and the same is hereby further amended as follows: by
deleting therefrom the first sentence thereof which reads
as follows: "All garages must be located on the North
side of a building."
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication according to law.
