AN ORDINANCE annexing certain
lands to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by the EXCHANGE NATIONAL
BANK OF CHICAGO, as trustee, being the sole owner of record of
the hereinafter described land and territory to the Village of Mount
Prospect and SALVATORE DI MUCCI,
L.. A V E B)iE
DIMUCCI, his wife and SALVATORE DI MUCCI, JR., being all of the
electors residing in the hereinafter described real estate and territory;
and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospec~ is inhabited and has three electors residing therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the Statute in such case made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of this Village
have examined said petition and have considered the queation of the
annexation of the territory described in said petition and believe it to be
to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be annexed
thereto; Now, Therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TR USTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the allegations contained in the petition are true.
Section 2. That the lands and territory described to-wit:
That part of the N.E. 1/4 of Section 14 Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian,
de scribed as follows: Commencing at a point in the
North line of said Section that is 1206 feet West of the
Northeast corner thereof; thence West along the North
line of said Section a distance of 605.83 feet to a point
that is 7.38 chains West of the Northwest corner of the
E. 1/2 of the N. E. 1/4 of said Section; thence South on
a line that if extended would intersect the South line of
the N. E. 1/4 of said Section at a point 7.38 chains
West of the Southwe st corne r of the E. 1/2 of the N. E.
1/4 of said Section, a distance of 1152.38 feet to a point
that is 500 feet North of the center line of Golf Road,
formerly Seegers Road; thence East parallel to the center
line of said Road a distance of 627.82 feet; thence North
a distance of 1147.20 feet to the place of beginning; ALSO
That part of the N. E. 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian described as
follows: Beginning at the ir1ersection of the Center line of
Seegers Road with a line drawn 305.08 feet West of the
West line of the E. 1/2 of the N.E. 1/4 of said Section 14,
measured on North and South lines of said N.E. 1/4; thence
West along the center line of said Road to a line drawn 7.38
chains West of the West line of the E. 1/2 of said N.E. 1/4
measured on the North and South lines of said N.E. 1/4;
thence North along said line 500 feet;fthence East parallel
with the center line of Seegers Road a distance of 182 feet;
thence South in a straight line to the point of beginning, in
Cook County, Illinois.
which terrtiory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
embraced therein, is inhabited, contains three electors residing therein,
and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Mount Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village as is by law in such
case made and provided.
Section 3. The Village Clerk of this Village is hereby directed
to record a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map
of said annexed territory, with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.

from and after its passage and approval,
