AN ORDINANCE amending the 'VHlage
of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance
as amended.

WHEREAS~ the Zoning Comr.ni.saion of the Village of Mount
Proeped:tj at a public meeting duly called and held accc:n:'w.ng to 1a.w~
considered the question of reclassifying from R -1 Residence District
to B Business District: the real estate hereinafter described; and
WI-IEREAS~ the President and Board of TrusteesJ after ccnsider-
ing the recommendation of the said Zoning Commission) find and believe
that the best and highest use for the real estate herein is: that of B Business;
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Pl'esident and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect1 Cook COuntY3 Illinois:
Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An Ordina.nce cla.ssifying,
regulating and restricting the location of trades and ind'!.lst:des and the
location of buildings designed for specified uses; regulating and limiting
the height and bulk of buildings hel.eafter erected 01" altered, regulating
and limiting the intensity of the U13e of lot area6 :and reg'l'llating and deter-
mining the area of ya:..'ds, courts and -other open spaces within an.d
surrounding such buildingp; establishing the boundaries of districts for
the said purposeD; a.nd prescribing penalties for the violation of its
provisions", passed and approved December 4: 1923, and an"le:ndmenta
thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52 as amell.ded, be further amended
by reclassifying from R -1 Residence District to B Busil1ess District; the
following described real estate:
Lot 22 and Z3 in Maplewood Heights~ a subdivision of the
East 15.00 chaine of that part lying NCl"th of. the Ra.ilroad
of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 12 (except the Southerly
66 feet for road) also of Block z6 in Busse 'a Ea.stern
Addition to Mount Prospect: in the East 1/2. of Section 12J
all in Township 41 Northt Range 11, East of the Thh~d
Principal Meridian, in Cook Co'U:aty ~ Illin.ois.
Section Z. That said real estate as ?edaasified shall be subject
to alllimitationsand conditions placed upon prQpe:i:ties in B Business
District al3 defined in oaid Ordina.nce h;zl'~inbe:ro;;:,e mentioned.
