CAF 3/27/92 ORDINANCE NO. 4412 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 507 GO WANDO WHEREAS, Janice L and William F. Scott (hereinafter referred to as Petitioners) have filed an application for a variation from Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, Illinois, for property commonly known as 507 Go Wando (hereinafter referred to as Subject Property), legally described as: Lot 13 in Block 10 in Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, being a subdivision of the southeast quarter of Section 11, and the South 15 acres of the East Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, Petitioners seek a variation from Section 14.1102.C to allow a fourteen foot four inch (14' 4") rear yard setback, rather than the required 25 feet, to accommodate an addition to an existing house; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the variation requested being the subject of ZBA Case No. 10-V-92 before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect on the 27th day of March, 1992, pursuant to due and proper notice thereof published in the Mount Prospect Herald on the llth day of February, 1992; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has submitted its findings and recommendation to the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect and the President and Board of Trustees of the Village have given further consideration to the variations being the subject of ZBA 10-V-92 and have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect would be served by granting said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF .THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: The recitals set forth hereinabove are incorporated herein as findings of fact by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION TWO: The President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hereby grant to the Subject Property a variation from Section 14.1102.C to allow a fourteen foot four inch (14' 4") rear yard setback in order to accommodate an addition. SECTION THREE: Except for the variation granted herein, all other applicable Village of Mount Prospect Ordinances and regulations BA 10-V-92 Page 2 of 2 shall remain in full force and effect as to the Subject Property. SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
