ORDINANCE NO. 4467 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE. BY PUBLIC AUCTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, in the opinion of at least three-fourths of the corporate authorities of. the Village of Mount Prospect, it is no longer necessar~or useful to or for the best interests, of saidjuris- diction to retain Ownership of the personal property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it has been determined bythe Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to sell said per- sonal property at public auction. now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT: SECTION ONE: Pursuant of Section 11-76-4 of the Illi- nois Municipal code, Illinois Revised Statutes', C24, ~ection 11-76-4, the Mayor and. Conf.erence to advertise the sale of the aforementioned personal p~opert¥-in a newspaper pub- lished within the c~m~unity before the date of said public auction. SECTION FOUR: The Village Manager is hereby author- ized and may direct the Northwest Municipal Conference. to enter into an agreement for the sale of said personal properly. The Auction shall be conducted in. the manner set forth in the specificationa for the.sale of vehicles attached hereto and made a part of this ordi- nance. SECTION FIVE: No bid which is less tha~the minimum value set forth in list of property to be sold shall be accepted, unless a lower amount is authorized by the Village Manager or his representative at the auction. SECTION SIX: Upon payment of the full auction price, the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to convey and transfer title to the aforesaid personal property, to the successful bidder. SECTION SEVEN: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, by a vote of at least tP~ee- fourths of the corPOrate authorities and approval in the manner pro- videdby law.
