ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF SANITARY SEWER
SERVICES ON WILDWOOD LANE
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has completed the
installation of sanitary sewer services to three lots on Wildwood
Lane in the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the lots being the subject of this Ordinance are legally
described as follows:
Lots 2, 3 and 4 of Walter A. Johnson's Subdivision of Lot
12, C.A.Goelz Prospect Gardens, a subdivision of the
Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35,
Township 42, Range 11 North, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, Cook County, Illinois, recorded as Document No.
14473989 and reqistered as Document No. 1252929 on
January 6, 1949;
and
WHEREAS, each lot being the subject of this Ordinance required and
received two sanitary sewer services (Service A and Service B) at
an installation cost of Two Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Five
Dollars ($2,475.00) per service; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interests of
the residents of the Village of Mount Prospect that the owner
and/or owners of these lots pay for the cost of installation of the
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect do hereby establish a charge of Two
Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($2,475.00) per service
installation against the properties being the subject of this
Ordinance. The charge shall be assessed against each lot as
follows:
Service A Service B
Lot 2 Already developed $2,475.00
No additional charge
Lot 3 Already developed $2,475.00
No additional charge
Lot 4 $2,475.00 $2,475.00
The charges set forth herein shall be paid in full prior to the
actual connection to the sanitary sewer services and shall bepaid
in addition to the normal connection/tap-on fee.
SECTION TWO: That the charges established herein shall bear
interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per year per lot from the
date this Ordinance is adopted until the time the charge is paid in
full.
~ That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
Sanitary Sewer Charges

Ordinance so that the charges established herein shall constitute
a lien on the properties being the subject of this Ordinance and
may be enforced in the manner provided by law.
SECTION FOUR: That no water service, sewer service or building
permits shall be issued for the Subject Property until such time as
the charge assessed against property for which the permit is
requested has been paid in full.
SECTION FIVE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the
manner provided by law.
