AN OHDINANCE TO ATTEND SEC'l'ION 22.301
OF ARTICLE III, CHAPTEH 22 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
OF 195'(. AS Ar.1ENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PHESID2NT AND BOAHD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLA.GE OF 1I1OUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Section 22.301 of Article III, Chapte~
22 of the Municipal Code of Hount Prospect of 1957 as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended to and shall hereafter read
as i'ollovlS:
fJSection 22.301 Hequirements. Eve:cy building
or structure in the Village used for residence,
business, trade, industry or meeting pu~poses
shall be equipped with properly constructed
and installed adequate sewage disposal facili-
ties. The plumbing in all such places shall
conform to the ordinances of the Village and
the laws 0; the State relative thereto.

nected to the intercepter system of the Metro-
politan Sanitary Distl'ict of Greater Chicago
shall be equipped with an adequate septic tank;
such tank shall have a capacity 0; not less
than 750 gallons fo~ each seven or less persons
Ii ving or worldng in such place; and an addi-
tional 75 gallons for each person in excess of
seven; provided that the tank in any premises
used for meeting purposes shall have a
capacity or not less than 1,500 gallons. 11
Section 2: That this Ordinancc shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion according to law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed,
reservinG however', to the Village of Hount Prospect any

rights whicn have accrued to it o.go.inst any person, firm or
corporation under any ol'dinance, or sections ol' ordinances
which may be and are hereby repealed.
