AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 6.101
OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT OF 1957,
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That Section 6.101 of Chapter 6 of
the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 195'7 as amended,
be and the same is hereby amended to and shall hereafter
read as follows:
IISection 6.101 Creation. There is here-
by created a Police Department, an
executive department of the Village. The
Police Department shall consist of the
Village Marshal who shall be the Chief of
Police, and such other officers and mem-
bers as may be provided for from time to
time by resolution of the President and
Board of Trustees.1I
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect
any rights which have accrued to it against any person, firm
or corporation under any ordinances, or sections of ordinances
which may be and are
