AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT,

petition was filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect:

Your petitioner, CHICAGO TITLE & TRUST COMPANY, a
Corporation, not individually, but as Trustee under
its Trust Agreement, dated April lG, 1955, and known
as Trust No. 37~03, represents that it is the record
title owner of the following described premises, to-wit:
That part of Lot 16 in OWNER'S SUBDIVISION of
Section 13, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the 3rd Principal Meridian, described as
follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
center line of Golf Road with the East Line of
Country Club Terrace Subdivision, a subdivi-
sion of part of Lot 16 and part of Lot 18 in
OvmER'S SUBDIVISION aforesaid, as recorded May
20th, 1955, as Document 162436~7 in Book 443
of Plats at pages 20 to 23, both inclusive,
and on May 20th, 1955 as Torren's Document No.
1595957 in Torren's Book 44 of Plats at pages
26 to 29, both inclusive, thence North along
the East line of said Country Club Terrace
Subdivision, 1539.36 feet to the North line of
the North-west Quarter (NW~) of said Section
13, thence East along said North Line 309.35
feet to the West Line of the GOLFHURST ESTATES
Subdivision, a subdivision of part of Lot 16 in
OWNER'S SUBDIVISION aforesaid, according to the
plat of said GOLFHURST ESTATES Subdivision,
recorded February 23, 1956 as Torren's Document
No. 1652426 in Torren's Book 47 of Plats, Pages
16 and 17, Thence South along the West Line of
said GOLFHURST ESTATES Subdivision, lj21.1l
feet to the Center Line of GOLF ROAD, Thence
vJesterly along the Center Line of GOLF ROAD
309.19 feet to the Place or point of beginning,
all in COOK COUN1~, ILLINOIS.
Your petitioner further represents that the said

premises contain approximately Eleven (11) Acres and
is all vacant property, now used for farming purposes,
and that no electors reside on the said property and
lie between GOLF ROAD, on the South, and LONNQUIST
PAR~^lAY, on the North, and between COUNTRY CLUB SUB-
DIVISION on the West and GOLFHURST ESTATES, on the
East.
Your petitioner desires that the said premises
be annexed to and become a part of the VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, and therefore hereby
requests the said VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLI-
NOIS, to annex the same and to pass the necessary
ordinances for said annexation, so that the same
may become a part of the said VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT.

then and there acknowledged that as Custodian of the
corporate seal of the said Company, he did affix the
corporate seal of said Company to said instrument
as his own free and voluntary act and as the free
and voluntary act of said Company, as Trustee as
aforesaid, for the uses and purposes therein set
forth.

vJHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect have considered the question of
annexation of the territory described in said petitionj
and
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect have independently determined
that said property, as described in the aforesaid petition,
is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
that it is contiguous to the present Village limits of the
Village of Mount Prospect, that no electors reside thereon,
and that the aforesaid petitioner constitutes the owner of
record of all the land described in the aforesaid petition,
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That the following-described property:

Section 2: That this ordinance shall be effective
upon its passage and approval according to law.
Section ~: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby authorized and directed to record
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
certified copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate
map of the territory annexed, attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
