ORDINANCE NO. t '17
AN ORDINANCE TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of May, 1959, a petition
was filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect to annex the property hereinbelow described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect have considered the question
of annexation of the territory described in said petition;
and
WHEHEAS, the PreGident and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect have independently determined
that said property as described in the aforesaid petition
is not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
that it is contiguous to the present Village limits of the
Village of Mount Prospect, and that the aforesaid peti-
tioners constitute the owners of record of all the land
described in the aforesaid petition and constitute all the
electors residing on said land,
NOV1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section J.: That the following-described pro-
perty:
That part of Lot 18 of the Northwest Hills
Country Club, being a Subdivision of parts
of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois, lying West of the East line of
the ~lest half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 11 aforesaid
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, I111n013, pursuant to the provisions

of Section '(-0 (a) of the Cities and Villages Act as amended.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shal1 be effective
upon its passage and approval according to law.
S~ction 3: That the Village Cleric of the Village
of Mount Prospect is hereby authorized and directed to re-
cord with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a
certified copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate
map of the territory annexed, attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
