ORDINANCE NO. & g '-I
AN ORDINANCE RELEASING A CERTAIN EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES IN THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, by plat duly memorialized of record with
the Registrar of Titles as Document No. 16044478 on October
15, 1954 an easement for pUblic utilities was granted over
certain portions of Lots 10 and 17 therein; and
WHEREAS, there are no municipal sewers, pavement,
water or other improvements in, over or under the said ease-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of an easement for pub-
lic utilities over other portions of said property would
serve the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect,

WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village
of Mount Prospect find that the public interests will not be~
affected by the release of said easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: The Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, State of Illinois, hereby vacates the following ease-
ment:
Ten (101) foot easement for public utilities
i.n the South ten (10) feet of Lot 17 of J. A.
Weber's Addition to Mount Prospect commencing
at a point ten (10) feet East of the West line
of said Lot 17 and 10 feet North of the South
line of said Lot 17, thence running East paral-
lel with the South line of said Lot 17 a dis-
tance of 116.72 feet to a point ten (10) feet
West of the East line of said Lot 17
and
A ten (101) foot easement for public utilities
in the North ten (10) feet of Lot 10 of J. A.
Weber's Addition to Mount Prospect commenCing
at a point ten (10) feet East of the West line
of Lot 10 and ten (10) feet South of the North

line of Lot 10, thence running East paral-
lel with the North line of Lot 10 a distance
of 1-16. -72 feet to a point ten (10) feet West
of the East line of said Lot 10,
all of the aforesaid in J. A. Weber's Addition
to Mount Prospect, being a subdivision of part
of the East one-half (1/2) of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third PrinCipal Meridian, as
recorded in Document No. 16044478 dated October
15, 1954.
Section 2: That the Clerk of the Village be and
he is hereby directed to cause this Ordinance to be filed
with the Recorder of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-

nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed, reserving however, to the Village of Mount Prospect
any rights which have accrued to it against any person, firm
