'lifo AN ORDINANCE TO ANEl\liJ ORDINANCE NO. 520 WHEREAS, on October 16, 1956 Ordinance No. 520 was passed and approved by the corporate authorities of the Vil- lage of Nount Prospect, which said Ordinance amended Section 3 of an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING, REGULATING AND RESTRICTING THE LOCATION OF TRADES AND I~~USTRIES AND THE LOCATION OF BUILDINGS DESIGNED FOR SPECIFIED USES; REGULATING AND LIMITING THE HEIGHT MiD BULK OF BUILD- INGS HEREAFTER ERECTED OR ALTERED, REGULA- TING AND LIHITING THE INTENSITY OF THE USE OF LOT AREAS M~n REGULATING AND DETE~lINING THE AREA OF YARDS, COURTS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES WITHIN M~D SURROUNDING SUCH BUILD- INGS; ESTABLISHING TH2 BOUNDARIES OF DIS- TRICTS FOR SAID PU~POSES; AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVI- SIONS ; and WHEREAS, said amendment should have established a new subsection of said ordinance and it is in the best inter- ests of the administration of the said Zoning Ordinance that the instant amendment be effected, which said amendment merely recodifies under a new section the same wording as included in Section 2 of said Ordinance No. 520, NOT.J, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 520 be and the same is hereby amended to and shall hereafter read as follows: flSection 1: That an ordinance entitled, rAn Ordinance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries and the loca- tion of buildings designed for specified uses; ~""""""''''''''''''''~'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''_-fl''''''''''~~''''''''''''''"''''-''-'''_____''''.,. H~ J 1;1 r~ "'_....~..,~"._.c~'~._'1"".....I'l''''~"'''''''''''..''.~:.'"."'"^ '-"'_"~'~<"'-',"-;Ci:"""_,'_'_,""""",,,",,__~""-_"""'_'__""""H"'~'"'''',,,,,;'.. ... - , - 2 - regulating and limiting the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, regula- ting and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings; estab- lishing the boundaries of districts for said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions' be and the same is hereby further amended to provide Section 3.I~B Districts - Off-street parking require- ments.1t Section 2: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 520 be and the same is hereby amended to and shall hereafter read as follows: "Section 2: Section 3.ltLB Districts Off- street parking requirements. '1 No building shall hereafter be erected, altered or extended for use for any of the business uses permitted in the various B Use Districts except after establishing off-street parking facilities having a total area of use- able parking space as equal to not less than 25% of the area of the lot, tract or parcel upon which the primary business use is con- ducted. All parking spaces provided pursuant to this provision may be on the same lot with the building or partly on the same lot with the building and elsewhere." Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED this I01kay o~h ,196l.
