ORDINANCE NO. 753
NtT'], TI-L'.:REFOR2:, BE IT ORDAIN,~D BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF T:.1i~ VILLAGE OF hOUNT PROSPECT,
COOK COill\iT'[, ILLINOIS:
Section 1: That paragraph 5 of Chapter II, Adrnini-
stration and Supervision, of the hount Prospect Building
Code of 1957 as amended, shall be amended to and shall here-
after read as follows:
1I5. No permits shall be issued for tile
erection of buildings for ~abitation on any
lot or parcel of land within the Village of
Hount Prospect unless a highl:vay, road, or
street or way for public service facilities
improved with pavement, water mains, and

Section 2: That paragraph 4 of Chapter III, Per-
mit Requirements - Bonds, :?ees, Plans, of the riount Prospect
Building Code of 1957 as amended, shall be amended to and
shall hereafter read as follows:
114. Building permits are issued with the
understanding that construction shall start
within thirty (30) days after issuance of the
pennit and be carried to completion within one
(1) year. If building operations are not
started vJithin sixt:;r (60) days after issuaEce
of the permit, or if after building operations
have been started, such operations shall cease
for a period of thirty (30) days, such building
pennit shall automatically expire and the permit
fee shall be forfeited to the Village .lmvever ,

start or continue building operations, or in-

Section 3:
That this Ordinance shall be effective
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

Section 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed, reserving hm.;r8ver, to the Village of haunt Prospect
an:;! rights ;"hic~1 have accrued to it against any person, firm
or corporation under any ordinance or sections of ordinances
liJhich ma)T be and are hereby repealed.
