AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON MAIN STREET (ROUTE 83)
BETWEEN CENTRAL ROAD AND FOD~DRY ROAD, SUPPLENlliNTING
PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 18.501 ltNO PARKING PLACES,II

WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois believes it to be to the best interests of th~ citizens
of Mount'Prospect that parking be prohlblted upon and a.Long Main
street (Route 83) between Central Road and Foundry Road;
NOW, THEHEFORE, BE IT OHDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county,
Illinois:
Section 1. That there be added to Section 18.501 "No
parking Places," Article V, Parking Rules, Chapter 18, Traffic,
of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect, the following paragraph
prohibiting parking:
14(d) Upon the paved or improved or main traveled part
of Main Street, also known as State Highway No. 83, be-
tween Central Road on the South and Foundry Road on the
North, in the Village of Mount Prospec~except on Sundays
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect upon its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
