AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON CENTRAL ROAD IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS,
SUPPLEMENTING PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 18.501,
"No Parki:r)g Places," Article V, "Parking Rules,"
Chapter l~, "Traffic~" of the Municipal Code of
~ount Prospect of 19~7. _
1:VHEHEAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, believes it to be to the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect that parking' be prohibited upon Central Road
in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFOHE, BE IT ORDAINED b the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount ~rospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1, That there be added to Section 18.501 "No
parldng Places," Article V "Parking Rules," Chapter 18 "Traffic, n
of the Municipal "'ode of Mount Prospect of 1957, the following
paragraph prohibiting parking:
14 (e) Upon the paved or improved or main traveled
part of Central Road from Northwest Highway (U. s. 14)
to Rand Road (U. S. 12) in said Village of Mount Pros-
pect, Cook County, Illinois. ....
Section 2. All ordinances of this Village in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
