'717 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND AT RAND AND FOUNDRY ROADS TO THE VILLAGE OF MOill1T PROSPECT, COOK COm~TY, ILLINOIS VfflEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Edward P. Stan- ton and Annette stanton, being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and territory, for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect, and WtiBREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor- porate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors residing thereon, and WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects complies with the requirements of the statutes in such cases made and provided, and vnmREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil- lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition, have considered the question of annexation of the territory described therein, and believe it to be to the best interests of the municipality that such territory be in fact annexed thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county, Illinois: ~ection 1. That all lands and territories described in said petition, towit: The West 210 feet of the East 490 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying North- east of Rand Road in Cook county, Illinois, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not embraced therein, is uninhabited and contains no electors residing thereon, and is unincorporated, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county, Illinois, so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the bourlary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such cases made and provided. Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate map of said annexed territory with the Recorder of Deeds of cook County, Illinois. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
