AN ORDINANCE PR.OHIBITING PARKING IN EUCLID AVENUE WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT BETITEEN ELMHURST ROAD (MAIN STREET) AND THE EAST LIMITS OF
THE VILLAGE; IN ELMHURST ROAD (MAIN STREET) lfflHIN THE Lll1ITS OF THE VIIJ..AGE OF
MCUNT PROSPECT BETlNEEN FOUNDRY ROAD AND THE NORTH LINITS OF THE VILLAGE; AND IN
FOUNDRY ROAD WITHIN THE Lll1ITS OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT BETIlEEN ELMHURST
ROAD (MAIN STREET) AND THE EAST L:lli:ITS OF THE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, believes it to
be to the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect that parking be prohibited
upon
Euclid Avenue,
Elmhurst Road (Main Street), and
Foundry Road
in the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1, That there be added to Section 18.501 I1No Parking Places," Art-
icle V "Parking Rules, II Chapter 18 "Traffic", of the Municipal Code of Mount
Prospect of 1957, the following paragraph prohibiting parking:
14 (1) Upon the paved or improved or main traveled part of
Euclid Avenue within the limits of the Village of
Mount Prospect between Elmhurst Road (Main Street) and
the east limits of the Village
Elmhurst Road within the limits of the Village of
Mount Prospect between Foundry Road and the north limits
of the Village
FOlli1dry Road within the limits of the Village of
Mount Prospect between Elmhurst Road (Main Street) and
the east limits of the V~lage
Section 2, All ordinances of this Village in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 3, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
