AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF
ELMHURST STREET NEAR RAND ROAD. MOUNT PROSPEClf
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has heretofore
annexed certain properties situated on the west side of Rand Road
and north of Bob-O-Link Road to the Village of Mount Prospect by
virtue of Ordinance No. <1;;2 rt , which area included a certain por-
tion of Elmhurst street ~einafter legally described, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board ot Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect find that said portion of said street
is no longer needed or necessary and that it would be to the best
insterests of the Village of Mount Prospect that said portion ot
said street, hereinatter described, be vacated and used tor other
usetul purposes,
NOW J THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, County of
COOk, Illinois:
. Section 1. That the North 130.06 feet of Elmhurst
street, as recorded in Prospect Meadows, a Subdivision of part
of the West half of the Southwest quarter of Section 27, Town-
ship 42 NQrth, Range 11 East of the Third Pracipal Meridian,
Cook county, IllinOis, recorded December 9, 1949 as Document
No. ~692921, which has heretofore been annexed to the Village
of Mouat Prospect, be and the same Is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk be and is hereby
directed to record a certified copy of thls ordinance together
with a plat of vacation with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
IllinQ is .
Section 3. That this ordinance Is in full foree and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
