AN ORDINANCE ANI'lEXING CERTAIN l:'ROl'ER1rIES CONSISTING
OF MORE THAN 300 ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF
ROUTE 58 (GOLF ROAD) AND WEST OF Ruu"TE 83 (ELMHURST
ROAD) TO THE VILLAGE OF MOD~T PROSP~CT~ ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, Cook county, Illinois, by the Pioneer Trust
and Savings Bank, as Trustee under Trust Nos. 11093, 11155, 11156
and 111.57, and the Co~monwealth Edison Company, a corporation, the
same being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described
land and territory for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect,
and
WHEREAS, Alfred Frank, Lillian Frank, Mrs. R. K. Jennings,
Mrs. Geo. Chambers, Mr. Geo. Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Ro Sharp,
Jeanne H. Harris, Mr. Harry carmer, Violette Carmer, William Hoda,
Judy Hoda, Jacob C. Schwan, Mildred Schwan, Robert Martin Kriec,
Gertrude Marie Kriec, Edw. A. Kunka, Rose Kunka, R. E. Glaze,
Patricia E. Glaze, Maralee Powers, Fred J. Hanrahan, Donald E.
caldart, Doris M. Caldart, G. T. Orr, John Landig, Is~belle M.
Landig, R. Krueckbay, being the sold electors residing thereon,
have joined in said petition for annexation and have consented
thereto, and
WlillREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village
of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WBEHEAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount prospect, Cook County, Illinois, have examined
said petition and believe it to be to the best interest of said
Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition and in Exhibits A and B attached
hereto, which exhibits are incorporated herein by reference and
made a part hereof as if r.~~f~~~~~~~iCh territory is con-
tiguous to the Village of' cVf, is not within the
limits of any municipality, contains electors who have all joined
in the written petition for annexation, and is not presently in
any incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the Village of Mount Prospect, so that hereafter said territory
shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said
Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after the passage and approval, according to
law.
