AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
TO THE VILLAGE OlP.OUNT PROSPECT ~ ILLINOIS
WHEBEAS1 a Oertified Copy ot a Re.olution adopted
by the Board ot Education ot School District No. 57, Oook County,
Illinois, bas been tiled with the Village Clerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Illinois, recommending the annexation of the
real estate hereinafter described by the Village of Mount
Prospeot, Illinois, pursuant to Section 7-1-14 of the Illinois
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, such real estate is owned by the Trustees
of Schools of Township 41, Range 11, for and on behalf ot said
School District; and
WHEREAS, such real estate is situated in unincor-
porated territory adjacent to the Village of Mount Prospect,
Illinois,

SEOTION 1: That all that territory known and

described as follows:
That part of the South Half (1/2) of the Southeast
Quarter (1/4) ot the Northeast Quarter (1/4) of
$ection 341 Township 42 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian lying westerly of the
centerline of Rand Road, Cook County, Illinois,
also
That part of the North half (1/2) of the Southeast
Quarter (1/4) ot the Northeast Quarter (1/4) of
Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, lying westerly of the
centerlae ot Rand Road, except the North 138 feet
thereof, in Cook County, Illinois,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the VUlage of Mount Prospect,
Illinois.
SEC'l'ION 2: That the Village Olerk of the Village
of Mount Prospect, is hereby directed to tile in the office ot
the Recorder ot Deeds ot Cook County~ Illinois, being the
Oounty in which said annexed territory is situated, a Certified
copy of this ordinance, together with an accurate map of the
territory hereby annexed.
SECTION 3: That this Qrdinance shall be in full

force and ettect trom and atter its passage and approval and
upon the recording of a Certitied copy thereot together with an
accurate map in the office ot the Recorder ot needs of Oook
County, Illinois; and thereupon said territory shall be subject
to the jurisdiction and ordinances of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Illinois.
