ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT

(
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, by Elmer R. Jackisch
and Aurora M. Jackisch, his wife, being the sole owners of record
of the hereinafter described land and territory, and the only
electors residing on said land, for annexation to the Village of
Mount prospect, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village
of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made and
provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that said territory be
annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition and on the rider attached hereto and
marked "Rider attached to Ordinance No. 94Q, It which territory is
contiguous to the Village of Mount prosp~ is not within the
limits of any municipality, contains as its only electors the sole
record owners, and is not presently im any incorporated municipal-
ity, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect so that hereafter said territyry shall be included within
the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in
such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance and its rider together with an accurate plat of
said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.

That part of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Golf Road
(as per plat of dedication recorded December 10, 1929 as
Document No. 105 50 568) with the East line of the West Half
of the Northwest quarter of said Section 14;
Thence North along said East line of said West half 500 feet;
Thence West at right angles to last described line; 300 feet;
Thence South at right angles to last described line to a line
100 feet Northerly of (measured at right angles) and parallel
with said center line of Golf Road;
Thence Northwesterly along last described parallel line, 214.08
feet more or less to the East line of the West 25 acres of that
part of the West half of said Northwest quarter lying North of
Seegers Road, as occupied in Busse Countr.y Estates, as per plat
thereof registered December 6, 1939 as Document No. 841 391;
Thence South along last described line, 101.86 feet more or less
to said center line of Golf Road;
Thence Southeasterly along said center line of Golf Road to the
place of beginning, all in Cook County, Illinois.
