HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 851 08/07/1962 $/8/7/62 ORDINANCE NO. 1'.5"'1 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN ,tlROPERTIES TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROS~ECT WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil- lage of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, by the Pioneer Trust and Savings Bank, as Trustee under Trust Nos. 11093, 11155, 11156 and 11157, and the Commonwealth Edison Company, a corporation, the same being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect, and WHEREAS, Alfred Frank, Lillian Frank, Mrs. R. K. Jennings, ~~s. Geo. Chambers, Mr. Geo. Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Ro Sharp, Jeanne H. Harris, Mr. Harry Carmer, Violette Carmer, William Hoda, Judy Boda, Jacob C. Schwan, Mildred Schwan, Robert Martin Kriec, Ger- trude Marie Kriec, Edw. A. Kunka, Rose Kunka, R. E. Glaze, Patricia E. Glaze, Maralee Powers, Fred J. Hanrahan, Donald E. caldart, Doris M. caldart, G. T. Orr, John Landig, Isabelle M. Landig, R. Krueckbay, Michael Zucchero and Billie Zucchero, being the sole electors residing thereon, have joined in said petition for annexa- tion and have consented thereto, and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor- porate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount prospect, and WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made and provided, and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have examined said petition and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county, Illinois: CD J\ 15) Section 1. That the land and territory described in the above mentioned petition and in the rider annexed hereto and in- corporated herein by reference, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains electors who have all joined in the written petition for annexation, and is not presently in any incorporated munioipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect, so that hereafter &aid territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. r--., '....... -''1 -.....~ r-..'\I Section 2.
