ORDINANCE NO. 1'.5"'1
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN ,tlROPERTIES
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROS~ECT
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, by the Pioneer Trust
and Savings Bank, as Trustee under Trust Nos. 11093, 11155, 11156
and 11157, and the Commonwealth Edison Company, a corporation, the
same being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described
land and territory for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect,
and
WHEREAS, Alfred Frank, Lillian Frank, Mrs. R. K. Jennings,
~~s. Geo. Chambers, Mr. Geo. Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Ro Sharp, Jeanne
H. Harris, Mr. Harry Carmer, Violette Carmer, William Hoda, Judy
Boda, Jacob C. Schwan, Mildred Schwan, Robert Martin Kriec, Ger-
trude Marie Kriec, Edw. A. Kunka, Rose Kunka, R. E. Glaze, Patricia
E. Glaze, Maralee Powers, Fred J. Hanrahan, Donald E. caldart,
Doris M. caldart, G. T. Orr, John Landig, Isabelle M. Landig, R.
Krueckbay, Michael Zucchero and Billie Zucchero, being the sole
electors residing thereon, have joined in said petition for annexa-
tion and have consented thereto, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village
of Mount prospect, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect have examined said petition and believe
it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and
territory be annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county,
Illinois:

Section 1. That the land and territory described in the
above mentioned petition and in the rider annexed hereto and in-
corporated herein by reference, which territory is contiguous to
the Village of Mount Prospect, is not within the limits of any
municipality, contains electors who have all joined in the written
petition for annexation, and is not presently in any incorporated
munioipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Mount Prospect, so that hereafter &aid territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law
in such case made and provided.

Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance and rider hereto attached together with an accurate
plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.

All that part of Sections 14, 15, 22 and 23, Township 41 North, Range 11
East of the 3rd Principal Meridian bounded by a line described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 15; thence West along
the North line of said Section 15, being the North line of Lots 1 and 3 in
the Division of the Louis F. Busse Farm, being the Northeast 1/4, except
the West 686.40 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of said Northeast 1/4, of Section
15, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian, a
distance of 1323.24 feet to the Northwe*t corner of said Lot 3; thence South
along the West line of said Lot 3 and said line extended a distance of
985.72 feet to the center line of Golf Road (formerly Seegers Road); thence
Northwesterly along the center of said road to a line 1833.60 feet West of
and parallel with the East line of said Section 15; thence South along said
line a distance of 418.22 feet to the South line of the Northwest 1/4 of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section 15, being the most Southerly North line of
Lot 5 in said Division of the Louis F. Busse Farm; thence West along said
line a distance of 812.22 feet to the most Westerly Northwest corner of said
Lot 5; thence South along the West line of said Lot 5 a distance of 1331.88
feet to the Southwest corner thereof, being also the center of Section 15;
thence East along the South line of said Lot 5 a distance of 247.50 feet to
the Northwest corner of Lot 1 in Edward Busse's Division of part of the
Southeast 1/4 of Section 15 and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 22, Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the 3rd Principal Meridian; thence South along the
West line of Lots 1 and 2 in said Edward Busse's Division a distance of
1054.40 feet to the South line of the North 388.70 feet of said Lot 2; thence
East along the South line of the North 388.70 feet of said Lot 2 a distance
of 2242.0 feet to the East line of said Lot 2; thence South along the East
line of said Lot 2 a distance of 2042.10 feet to the Southeast corner of said
Lot 2, being a point on the original center line of Algonquin Road; thence
Southeasterly along the original center line of Algonquin Road, 10.94 chains
(722.04 feet); thence North 11.62 chains (766.92 feet) to a point on the
North line of said Section 23, 7.25 chains (478.50 feet) East of the North
West corner thereof; thence East along the South line of the Southwest 1/4
of Section 14 (being also the North line of said Section 23) a distance of
842.08 feet to the Southeast corner of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of
said Section 14; thence North along the East line of the West 1/2 of said
Southwest 1/4 a distance of 789.30 feet to a point 129.60 feet North of the
Northwest corner of the South 20 acres of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest
1/4 of said Section 14; thence Northeasterly a distance of 1343.44 feet to a
point on the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 14, 321.50 feet
South of the Northeast corner of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
said Section 14; thence North on the East line of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 14 a distance of 665.10 feet to the South line of the North 30 acres
