HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 852 08/07/1962 4/ ORDINJ..NCE NO 0 ~', ,/ 6 J I- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF I<10UNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MAIN STREET AND FOUNDBY ROAD WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect, sitting as a Zoning COIDnlission at a public meeting duly called and held according to law (Appeal No. 62-14,. ) , considered the question of reclassifying the real estate herein- after described from R-l district to B-3 district A~ID, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that of B-3 district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: Section 10 That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance classifying, regulating and restric,ting the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for speci- fied uses; regulating and limiting the height and bulk of build- ings hereafter erected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and sur- rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes; and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions," passed and approved December 4, 1923, and amendments thereto, and known as Ordinance No. 52, as amended by an ordinance known and cited as the Zoning ordinance of Mount prospect, passed and approved May 2, 1944, and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying the following described real estate from R-l district to B-3 district. (The legal description of said real estate is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if here fully set out.) Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon prop- erties in the B-3 district as defined in the ordinances aforementioned. , . . section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this or- dinance shall be fined not wore than One Hundred ($lOO) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publicat.ion, according to law.
