ORDINANCE NO. ? 7 3
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC ROAD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect, after due investigation and consider-
ation, have determined that the nature and extent of the public
use and the public interest to be served is such as to warrant
the vacation of a certain portion of the public road hereinafter
described in the Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, all abutting and adjoining property owners
have petitioned for the vacation of said portion of the public
road hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That that portion of the public road here-
inafter described shall be and the same is hereby vacated and
closed inasmuoh as said road at the places indicated is no longer
required for the public use, and the public interest would be
best served by said vacation:
That part of the East 25 feet of Lot 3 in
Owner's Subdivision of Section 13, Township
41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Prin-
cipal Meridian according to plat thereof
recorded November 21, 1917 as Document No.
623 4084 in the Recorder'S Office of Cook
County, Illinois, lying North of the North
line of Golf ftoad as laid out in Golfhurst,
being a Resubdivision of Lot 3 aforesaid.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk be and is hereby
directed to file for record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance with
an accompanying plat of vacation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.
