ORDINANCE NO. r?.3
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY
TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospeot by Exohange National
Bank of Chioago, as Trustee under Trust 15087, being the sole owner
of reoord of the hereinafter described land and territory for an-
nexation to the Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said land, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village
of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that said territory be
annexed thereto,
BOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees Gf the Village of Mount Prospect, Oook Gounty,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in the
above aentioned petition, towit:
That part of the Northeaat Quarter of the Hortheast
Quarter of Section 22, Township 41 Horth, Range 11,
Eas t of the Third Principal Meridian, bounded. and
described as follows: Commeneing at the point ot
intersection of the Southwesterl,. right of way line
of Algonquin Road, and the Bflst line of the West
395.14 ft. of said Hortheast Quarter of the Hortheast
Quarter; thenee South 200 ft. <as Dleasured on the
East line of said West 395.14 ft.) tor a place of
beginning; thence South on the East line of said. West
395.14 ft., 860.89 ft. to the North line of the South
5 acres of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 22; thenee East on the North
line of said South 5 acres, 881.04 ft. to a point on
the West line of the East 50 ft. ot the Hortheast
Quarter of Section 22; thence North on said West line
ot the East 50 ft. of the Northeast Quarter of said
Section a distance of 397.67 ft.; thence Northwesterly
on a line parallel to the Southwesterly right of way
line of Algonquin Road a distance of 990.81 tt. to the
place of beg1Bning, all in Oook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village ot Mount Prospect, is
not wi thin the 11mi ts of any municipali t,., contains DO elec tors,
and is not presently in an,. incorporated muniCipality, be and the
SUle is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospeet so that
hereatter said territory shall be included within the DOundarJ
lines and limits of said Village, as i. by law in such ea.e made
and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinanee together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
See tion 3. Tha t this ordinance shall be in full torce
and effect from and after its passage and approval aecording to
law.
