HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 890 01/15/1963 ; ~?O ORDINl\.NCE NO 0 ~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED AT SOUTHWEST C ORNER OF CENTRAL ROA.i) AND .PIN"E STREET. vlHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly called and held according to law (Appeal No. 62-25 ), considered the question of reclassifying the real estate herein- after described from I-I (Industrial) to B-3 (Business) AND, WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, having considered the recornnlendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, and petitioners agreement to set the building back 41 feet from property line on Pine street and 4 feet from property line on Central Road for the purpose of affording parking and landscaping areas in accordance with the proposed plan submitted, find and believe that the highest and best use of said real estate is that of B-3 (Business). NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'r ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1. That an ordinance entitled "An ordinance classifying, regulating and restricting the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for speci- fied uses; regulating and limiting the height a.nd bulk of build- ings herea.fter erected or altered, regulating and limiting the intensity of the use of lot areas and regulating and determining the area of yards, courts and other open spaces within and sur- rounding such buildings; establishing the boundaries of districts for the said purposes, and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions," passed and approved December 4, 1923, and amendments thereto, and known as ordinance No. 52, as amended by an ordinance known and cited as the Zoning Ordinance of Mount prospect, passed and approved May 2, 1944, and as subsequently amended to date hereof, be amended by reclassifying the following described real estate from I-l (Industrial) to B-3 (Business) (The legal description of said real estate is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if here fully set out.) Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified be subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon erties in the B 3 (Business) Distpiet as defined in the ordinances aforementioned. shall prop- , Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this or- dinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. section 4.
