ORDINANCE NO. J J .
AN oRDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY LYING NORTH
OF GOLF ROAD TO THE VILLAGE OF MODNT PROSrECT
WHER&\S, a written petition has been filed with the Vil-
lage Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Schavilje and Knuth,
Inc., being the sole owner of record of the hereinafter described
land and territory for annexation to the Village of Mount Pros-
pect, and
ViliEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village
of Mount prospect, is uninhabited and has no electors residing
thereon, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statutes in such cases made
and provided, and
~iEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition, have con-
sidered the question of annexation of the territory described
therein, and believe it to be to the best interests of the muni-
cipality that such territory be in fact annexed thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and CO
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, --..:

Section 1. That all lands and territories described in
said petition, towit:

The West 316 feet of the East 426 feet (as measured on /"."
the North line thereof) of that part of the East half {Ij
of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, Township 41 if"
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, I~/
lying North of Golf Road, Cook County, Illinois;
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is
not within the limits of any municipality, contains no electors
and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordip~nce shall be in full force and
effect fr0~and after its passage and approval according to law.
