AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF
PIRE LIEUTENANT, AMENDIJ:IG SECTION 7.102
OF THE HUNIC IPAL CODE OF 1,,1QUHT PROS.PECT
NUW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of I\1otmt Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 7.102 of the Municipal Code
of Mount prospect is hereby amended by adding thereto the follow-
ing:
"(b) There is hereby created the office of Fire
Lieutenant. Said Fire Lieutenant shall be second only in rank
to the Fire Chief. Said Fire Lieutenant shall have such duties
as may be given him by the Fire Chief and such other duties as
may be prescribed for hL~ by the President and Board of Trustees.
He shall be appointed by the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners
of the Village."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to
law.
