AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.405 OF THE
MUNIC IPAL CODE OF WIOUWr .PROS.l:'ECT RELATING
TO ELECTRICAL FEES
NOW, TllliREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. 'J1Ilat Section 21.405 of the Municltpal Code
of },!ount Prospect be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
ItSection 21.405. Fees. The following fees srL8.11 be
paid for the inspection by the Electrical Inspection Department
of th~ Village of Mount Prospect:
itA. Electrical Permit Fees for Single Family Residences:
"(1) Single family residences of 1,000 square feet or
less shall pay an electrical perrait fee of $~18 for electrical in-
spection.
"(2) Single family residences of 1,001 square feet to'
1,500 square feet shall pay an electrical permit fee of $24 for
electrical inspection.
"(3) Single family residences of 1,501 square feet to
2,000 square feet shall pay an electrical permit fee of $30 for
electrical inspection.
U(4) Single f~nily residences,over 2,000 square feet
shall pay an electrical permit fee of $3b for electrical inspec-
tion.
"3. Multi-family, Commercial and Industrial Permit Fees:
IIpee based on number of 15 or 20 amp circuits.
"1 to 10 circuits, ~3.50 for each circuit
11 to 25 circuits, (:)3.00 for each circuit
over 25 circuits, $2.50 for each circuit.
"C. Electrical Motors. For the inspection of one electrical
motor on the premises, a charge of 85.70 plus $2.00 for each
additional electrical motor.
"D. Minimum Inspection Fee. No inspection shall be made for
less than ~6.00. No re-inspection shall be made except at fees
of ~6 per hour. All fees herein provided shall be paid to the
Village prior to the issuance of an electrical permit."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
