AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNIC I.t'AL CODE
OF MOUNT .t'ROS.t'ECT BY ADDING THERETO
SECTIONS 25.328 and 25.329, PROHIBITING
INTOXICATION AND THE DRINKING OF
ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS IN PUBLIC PARKS, PLAY
GROUNDS AND SWIMMING POOLS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the Munbipal Code of the Village of
Mount Prospect is hereby amended by adding thereto Sections
25.328 and 25.329 prohibiting intoxication and the drinking of
alcoholic liquors in public parks, play grounds and sw~ing
poolS, which shall read as follows:
"25.328. No intoxicated person shall enter, be or re-
main in any public park, play ground or swimming pool, nor shall
any person bring into, sell, give away or drink any alcoholic
liquors in an7 public park, play ground or swimming pool. The
term "alcoholic liquors" as used herein shall be as defined by
Section 13.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect.
"25.329. Any person or persons violating any provision
of Section 25.328 shall be fined not less than One ($1) Dollar
nor more than Two hundred ($200) Dollars for each offense."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full foree
and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
