ORDINANCE NO. 'is '1 ...!
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING .J:iROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT .J:iROSPECT
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, by Pioneer Trust
and Savings Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 8997, being the 80le
owner of record of the hereinafter described land and territory
for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said land,
and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any munioipality, but is contiguous to the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospeot, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Mount Prospect have examined said petition and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that said territory be
annexed thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition, towit:
The South 50 feet, as measured on the East and
West lines thereof, of Lot 7 in Juhnke's SUbdi-
vision of that part of the East 854.70 feet of
the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township
~l North, Range 11 East of the Third Prinoipal
Meridian, lying South of the center of Golf
Road, Cook County, Illinois,
whioh territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is
not within the ltmits of any municipality, contains no electors,
and is not presently in any incorporated munioipality, be and the
same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and 1~it8 of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Mount Prospect i8 hereby directed to reoord a certified copy of
this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, IllinoiS.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
