ORDINANCE NO. 4584
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 ENTITLED
q'RAFFIC CODE' OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
.SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2001 entitled "Schedule I - Speed Restrictions" of Chapter
18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by
adding the following in proper alphabetical sequence; so that hereinafter said Section
18.2001 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect shall include the following:
Speed
"Name of Direction of Limit
Street Traffic Movements (MPH) Description
Freedom Ct. East and Westbound 25 Entire jurisdiction
Heritage Dr. North and Southbound 25 Entire jurisdiction
Independence Ct. East and Westbound 25 Entire jurisdiction
Liberty Ct. East and Westbound 25 Entire jurisdiction
Regency Ct. East and Westbound 25 Entire jurisdiction"
SECTION TVVO: That Section 18.2004 entitled "Schedule IV - Stop and Yield Signs" of
Chapter 18 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended
to add the following in proper alphabetical sequence; so that hereinafter said Section
18.2004 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect shall include the following:
"Name of Direction of
Street Traffic Movement At Intersection With
Craig Ct. Northbound Lincoln St.
Douglas Ave. Northbound Lincoln St.
Leonard Ave. Southbound Lincoln St."
SECTION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
AYES: Clowes, Corcoran, Hendricks, Hoefert, Skowron, Wilks
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
