AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Section 18.2008 entitled "Schedule VIII -
Weekday Parking" Of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code,
as amended, is hereby further amended; so that hereinafter said
Section 18.2008 shall include, in proper alphabetical sequence, the
following:
"Name of Side of Hours
Street Street Prohibited Description
Milburn Ave. South 7:00 a.m. to I-Oka Ave. &
8:30 a.m. Elmhurst Ave.
I-Oka Ave. East 7:00 a.m. to The first 180 ft.
8:30 a.m. south of Milburn
Ave. "
SECTION TWO: That Section 18.2011.A entitled "Two Hour Parking"
of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of Mount Prospect,
as amended, is hereby further amended by deleting therefrom "Wille
St., East & West, Btw. Busse Ave. & Central Rd." and deleting
therefrom "Wille St., East & West, The first 4 parking stalls north
of Busse Ave.".
SECTION THREE: That paragraph D entitled "Eight Hour Parking" of
Section 18.1320 (Time Limits) of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the
Village Code, as amended, is hereby further amended; so that
hereinafter said Section 18.1320.D shall be and read as follows:
" Eight Hour Parking. Parking of automobiles and other vehicles
is limited to eight (8) hours on any day between the hours of
eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. on the
streets or portions thereof included in Schedule X of the
Appendix to this Chapter. "
SECTION FOUR: That Section 18.2010 entitled "Schedule X - Eight
Hour Parking" of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of
Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended; so that
hereinafter said Section 18.2010 shall be and read as follows:
" Sec. 18.2010. Schedule X - Eight Hour Parking. In accordance
with Section 18.1320.D, and when signs are erected giving
notice thereof, no person shall park a vehicle for more than
eight (8) hours on any day between the hours of eight o'clock
(8:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. on any streets or
parts of streets as follows:

SECTION FIVE: That Section 18.2012 entitled "Schedule XII - Four
Hour Parking" of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the Village Code of
Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the
following; so that hereinafter said Section 18.2012 of Chapter 18
shall in include, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following:
" Name of Side of
Street Street Description
Wille St. East & West A point 260 ft. south of
Central Rd. to a point
475 ft. south of Central
Rd. "
SECTION SIX: That Section 18.2005 entitled "Schedule V - No
Stopping, Standing or Parking" of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding the following; so that hereinafter said Section
18.2005 of Chapter 18 shall include, in proper alphabetical
sequence, the following:
"Name of Side of Between
Street Street Hours of Description
Emerson St. West At Any Time From a point 260 ft.
ft. south of Central Rd.
to a point 475 ft. south
of Central Rd. "
SECTION SEVEN: That Section 18.2005 entitled "Schedule V - No
Stopping, Standing or Parking" of Chapter 18 (Traffic Code) of the
Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting therefrom "Highland St., North & South, Btw.
Rand Rd. and the west side of Maple".
SECTION EIGHT: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in
pamphlet form the manner provided by law.
AYES: Busse, Clowes, Corcoran, Floros, Hoefert, Wilks
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
