ORDINANCE NO. 927
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT SO AS TO PROVIDE
WATER RATES FOR AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE be it ordained by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 23.306 of the Municipal Code of
Mount Prospect be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 23.306
A - Rates for service within the village. All
property upon which any building has been or may hereafter be
erected and located within the Village of Mount Prospect, having
a connection with any mains or pipes which may hereafter be
constructed and used in connection with the village water system
shall pay the following rates per quarter:
First 10,000 gallons - - - - - - .45 per ~1.
Next 10,000 gallons - - - - .43 per M.
Next 10,000 gallons - - - - .40 per M.
Next 20,000 gallons - - - - .38 per H.
Next 50,000 gallons - - - - - - - - .35 per M.
Over 100,000 gallons - - - - - - - - .32 per M.
Minimum charge $3.00 per quarter.
B - Rates for service outside the village. All
property upon which any building has been or may hereafter be
: erected without the village having connection with any mains or
'pipes which may hereafter be constructed or used in connection
with the village water system shall pay the following rates per
quarter:
First 10,000 gallons - - - - - -$1.00 per M.
Over 10,000 gallons - - - - - - .72 per M.
~finimum charge $ 5.00 per quarter."
Section 2 - This ordinance shall be in full force and effec
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
