ORDINANCE NO. 946
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING HOURS FOR BOWLING ALLEYS. AND
BILLIARD AND POOL HALLS ON SUNDAY A.M.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect. Cook County. Illinois;
Section 1. That Section 11.303 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Mount Prospect relating to the hours of operation for bowling
alleys shall be amended to read as follows:
"Section 11.303 Hours of operation. No person shall
keep open. operate or use any such alley between the
hours of one o'clock A.M. and six o'clock A.M. on Monday
through Saturday. inclusive and it shall be unlawful for
any person to keep open, operate or use any such alley
between the hours of two o'clock A.M. and six o'clock A.M.
on Sunday."
Section 2. That Section 11.204 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Mount Prospect relating to the hours of operation for billiard
and pool halls shall be amended to read as follows:
"Section 11.204 Hours of operation. No billiard
hall or other hall licensed hereunder shall be open
for business, or used. between the hours of one o'clock
A.M. and six o'clock A.M. on Monday through Saturday,
inclusive and it shall be unlawful for any billiard
hall or other hall licensed hereunder to be open for
business. or used, between the hours of two o'clock A.M.
and six o'clock A.M. on Sunday."
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to
law.
