ORDINANCE NO. 958
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT~ WHICH PROPERTY IS SOUTH OF ALGONQUIN ROAD AND
WEST OF BUSSE ROAD~ COMMONLY KNOWN AS TRENDEL PROPERTY
WHEREAS~ written petitions have been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect by Lucille J. Haseman~ Robert E.
Haseman~ Dale R. Dixon~ Harriet Dixon~ Wilbur T. Dixont and Grace L.
Dixon~ being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described
land and territory~ for annexation to the Village of Mount Prospect~ and
WHEREAS~ said land and territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount
Prospect~ and
WHEREASt Lucille J. Haseman~ Robert E. Haseman, Dale R. Dixon~
Harriet Dixon~ Carmella Dixon~ Wilbur T. Dixon, Grace L. Dixon and
William C. Dixon are the sole electors residing thereon and have joined
in said petition for annexation and have consented thereto, and
WHEREAS~ said petitions are under oath and in allrespects
comply with the requirements of the statutes in such cases made and
provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, have examined said petitions
and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said
land and territory be annexed thereto;
II NOW, THEREFOREt BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of

joined in said petition and is not presently in any incorporated
municipality~ be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount
Prospect so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case
made and provided.

Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED and APPROVED this 25th day of FEBRUARY, 1964.

And President Schlaver.
