ORDINANCE NO. 965
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT, WHICH PROPERTY IS COMMONLY KNOWN
AS 10, 12 and 110 E. RAND ROAD
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village Clerk
of the Village of Mount Prospect by Charles B. Gray, Grace E. Gray, Harry
Christiansen and Margaret Christiansen, being the sole owners of record of
the hereinafter described land and territory, for annexation to the Village
of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, and
WHEREAS, Charles B. Gray, Grace E. Gray, Harry Christiansen and
Margaret Christiansen are the sole electors residing thereon and have joined
in said petition for annexation and have consented thereto. and
WHEREAS. said petitions are under oath and in all respects comply
with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and provided. and
WHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect. Cook County. Illinois. have examined said petitions and
believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and
territory be annexed thereto;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petitions
to wit:
That part lying North of the Center line of Rand Road
of the West Two Hundred Eighty Four and Twenty Four
One Hundredths (284.24) feet of the East 774.24 feet
of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 34, Township 42 North. Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois

Beginning at a point 2906.86 feet East of Northwest
Corner of Section 34. Thence South 45040' East for a
distance of 108.62 feet to a point of intersection
with a curve and tangent and beginning of said tract,
thence continuing South 45040' East for a Distance of
268.69 feet. thence North 0008'30" West for a dis-
tance of 230.50 feet. thence North 89059'30" West for a
distance of 173.64 feet to a point of curvature. thence
concave southerly for a distance of 59.23 feet with a
radius of 25.0 feet to a point of tangency and begin-
ning of survey of that part lying Northeast of the
center line of Rand Road of the Northwest Quarter of
the Northeast quarter (except the East 774.24 feet
thereof as measured on the North line thereof) of Sec-
tion 34. Township 42 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
within the limits of any municipality, contains electors who have joined in
said petition and is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount Prospect so that here-
after said territory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with
an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
