HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 982 05/19/1964 ORDINANCE NO. 982 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT'S ZONING ORDINANCE BY AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT SO AS TO CONSTRUCT A GARAGE, STORAGE AND REPAIR BUILDING AT 11 SOUTH PINE STREET, MOUNT PROSPECT I I I I I WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount II Prospect, sitting as a Zoning Commission at a public meeting duly , called and held according to law (Appeal No. 64-20), considered the question of granting a special use permit for a garage, stor- I age and repair building on the real estate hereinafter described; I and I I I WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals believes that a special use permit for a garage, storage and repair building for municipal equipment should be granted for said real estate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect passed and approved April 2, 1963, and known as Ordinance 898 be amended so as to permit a special use for a public works building for the garaging, storage and repairs of municipal equipment be established on the following described real estate: Lots 13 through 16, inclusive, and lot 17 except the north 22 feet thereof, all in block 2 in Busse and Wille's resubdivision in Mount Prospect, in the west half of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, east of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County,Illinois. Section 2. That the Building Commissioner of the Village be and is hereby authorized to issue said Special Use Permit. Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who vio- lates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is permit-! ted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
