AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING VILLAGE OWNED PROPERTY TO
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, a Municipal Corpora-
tion, is the record owner of real estate legally described as
follows:

II WHEREAS, said real estate is contiguous to the Village of
I~ount Prospect and is not now within any municipality but is in
lithe unincorporate portion of the County of Cook; and

:i WHEREAS, said property can be annexed to the Village of
!Mount Prospect by virtue of the Statutes of the State of Illinois,
!particularly 7-1-9 of Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised
:Statutes (1963); and

That part of Lot 7 in Owner's Division (herein-
after described) described as follows: Beginning
at a point on the West line of said Lot 7, 697.0
feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence East parallel with the South line of said
Lot 7, a distance of 80.0 feet; thence North
parallel with the West line of said Lot 7, a
distance of 125.0 feet; thence West parallel with
the South line of said Lot 7, a distance of 80.0
feet to the West line of said Lot 7; thence South
on the West line of said Lot 7, a distance of 125.0
feet to the place of beginning. In owner's divi-
sion, being a subdivision of the Southeast 1/4
(except the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 thereof)
of Section 10, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian; and
I! WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
!iof Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, believe it to be to the
Ibest interest of said Village that said land and territory be
I~nnexed thereto:
Ii NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
IFrustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
I' That part of Lot 7 in Owner's Division (herein-
Ii after described) described as follows: Beginning
i! at a point on the West line of said Lot 7, 697.0
feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 7;
thence East parallel with the South line of said
Lot 7, a distance of 80.0 feet; thence North
parallel with the West line of said Lot 7, a
distance of 125.0 feet; thence West parallel with
the South line of said Lot 7, a distance of 80.0
feet to the West line of said Lot 7, a distance
of 125.0 feet to the place of beginning. In
owner's Division, being a subdivision of the South-
east 1/4 (except the West 1/2 of the Southwest
1/4 thereof) of Section 10, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian;
which territory is owned by the Village of Mount Prospect, is not
within the limits of any municipality and is contiguous to the
Village of Mount Prospect and is presently in no other incorpo-
rated muniCipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Mount Prospect so that said territory shall be
included within the boundary lines and limits of said Village,
as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Mount
Prospect is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with
the Recorder of Deed of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
ffect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
